Alabama fell just six points short of pulling off a major non-conference victory on the road at Arizona, but it was still a solid week for the Avery Johnson's team.

The Crimson Tide beat a solid Rhode Island team at home before going toe-to-toe with the Wildcats on Saturday. Alabama will now enjoy a week off for final exams before finishing off its 2017 non-conference schedule against Mercer and Texas next week.

The latest AP top 25 was released on Monday and Alabama was still receiving votes a week after falling out of the rankings. Five of the Tide's non-conference opponents are either ranked or receiving votes in this week's poll.
