Alabama moves to 6-5 in conference play by taking down seventh-ranked Ole Miss, 12-10, after 10 innings of baseball in Oxford, MS. The Tide has now won seven of its last eight games and will look for the sweep on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Two home runs brought in half of Alabama's runs for the afternoon including a game-winning two-run shot in the 10th inning from third baseman Zane Denton. Center fielder Andrew Pinckney went 3-for-4 with a double in the outing which brings his total of multi-hit games to eight in 2022.

First baseman Drew Williamson collected his fifth home run for the season, a grand slam in the seventh inning, giving Alabama a 10-7 lead. With the grand slam, Williamson takes over as the team's leader in RBI (29).

Senior right-hander Jacob McNairy earned the start for Bama on Saturday and was pulled after 3.2 innings pitched with seven earned runs. Junior LHP Jake Leger threw for 4.0 innings in relief, collecting eight strikeouts with just three hits and two earned runs.

The winning pitcher for the Tide, redshirt freshman RHP Dylan Ray, took over in the eighth inning and eventually let Ole Miss tie the game in the ninth to stay alive. Despite the hiccup, he was sent back out in the 10th to shut the door for a series victory. Ray collects his first win for the season and ended the appearance with 2.1 innings pitched, two strikeouts and an earned run off of two hits in the ninth.

Game three against Ole Miss in Oxford can be found on the SEC Network at 2 p.m.
