Alabama Dominates the Hurricanes in Atlanta to Set the Tone for 2021
The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide defeated No. 14 Miami 44-13 in Mercedes Benz Stadium to open the 2021 season. Alabama entered the game with many question marks on offense as they returned just three starters from the 2020 team.
Alabama made late changes along the offensive line but was still able to put up 44 points and 501 yards of offense thanks to a record-breaking performance by Bryce Young.
The Alabama offense wasn't the only unit firing on all cylinders, the Crimson Tide defense stopped Miami on seven out of its first eight drives. Alabama's defense did suffer a blow as senior Chris Allen may have suffered a season-ending foot injury.
Young was helped out on offense by tight-end Cameron Latu's two receiving touchdowns and Jameson Williams's 94-yard strike. All of Alabama's fan base celebrated in the third quarter as Trey Sanders got into the endzone
Nick Saban will show the team "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" on Monday and the team will prepare for life without Chris Allen but for now enjoy the detailed photos from the Alabama athletic department from the Crimson Tide's 2021 season opening win over Miami.
