Alabama Earns Big Offensive Line Commitment
The Crimson Tide continues a cold summer by staying hot on the recruiting trail. The offensive linemen are certainly appreciative of it being a cold summer, as the Crimson Tide continues to make additions in that room via the high school ranks and recruiting.
According to hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, in-state offensive lineman Micah DeBose has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
DeBose committed to the Crimson Tide over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators, and the LSU Tigers. In his commitment, DeBose says, "I'm home. Roll Tide. #DeboerEra"
DeBose plays for Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama. The Crimson Tide entered the picture of his recruitment late, but made up ground quickly and landed the in-state prospect.
He attends Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama, and is rated as the 10th four-star in Alabama 2025 recruiting class according to 247 Sports composite. He's rated as the No. 89 overall prospect in the class and the No. 8 offensive tackle in the class, as well as the No. 8 player in the state of Alabama.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman shows physicality in the run game and does not shy away from contact at the point of attack. If he is unable to find a body to hit out of his immediate burst when the ball is snapped, DeBose will find a target and do what he can to pave the way for the ball carrier.
DeBose had been committed to Georgia before decommitting just before Christmas last year.
Alabama's 2025 recruiting class currently looks like this:
- Keelon Russell - 4-star QB
