In the world of sports betting, parlays are considered high-risk for high-reward. Bettors can combine multiple bets into one slip, with people often piling up long lists of things they think will happen in a game.

One aspect of betting is "futures" bets, where fans can bet on their favorite team to win a championship well before the game, or season, is even played. One diehard Alabama fan has done this, placing a wager that would pay nearly $1 million.

Cruz Oxenreider, a diehard Alabama fan and graduate of the University of Alabama in 2015, began his collegiate career at Florida. After spending time in Gainesville, Oxenreider decided Florida wasn't for him, and transferred to the University of Alabama. Since graduating, Oxenreider has amassed a following of over 20,000 on X and 10,000 on Instagram. Marketing himself as a sports fanpage and experienced bettor, Oxenreider has placed his most ambitious parlay yet.

In a four-leg parlay, he wagered that Alabama women's basketball would win the NCAA tournament, Alabama men's basketball would win the NCAA tournament, Alabama baseball would win the College World Series, and Alabama football would win the College Football Playoff national championship.

While he only wagered 27 cents, the payout would be life-changing money at $974,255.04. Nearly $1 million.

The story would be one for the books if the improbable happens and Alabama sweeps four major championships in one year.

Alabama women's basketball finished 23-7 to end the regular season, and is set to begin NCAA tournament play next week. For the men, they have one more game against Auburn before the regular season ends and the Crimson Tide begins its journey back to the Final Four on March 20 - the first day of the NCAA tournament Round of 64.

Alabama baseball is riding high following a win over No. 19 Troy on Wednesday, with the Crimson Tide sitting at 14-0 one week before beginning conference play.

Alabama football is in the midst of a quarterback battle and is entering year two under new head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama finished 9-4 in the first year under DeBoer, tying the most wins of any first-year Alabama head coach with Frank Thomas (1931).

The longest odds on the slip belong to Alabama women's basketball, which currently sits at +20000 to win the women's NCAA tournament.

Is it insanity or confidence that could lead to life-changing money?
