If you are an Alabama football fan, you know of the many great running backs that have come through Alabama that are now playing at the professional level. I guess you could say that Alabama breeds running backs, considering the amount of RB's from Alabama that have gone on to play in the NFL.

Of this handful of running backs, one currently stands out in the NFL right now -  Derrick Henry.

If you watch the NFL, you have surely seen the infamous stiff arm of the former Crimson Tide running back. During his time in the NFL, Henry has rushed for 5,860 yards and 55 touchdowns. Not to mention, he led the NFL in rushing yards the past two seasons.

Aside from that, the Crimson Tide potentially has one of the greatest groups of running backs going into the 2021 season.

After winning his second national championship this season, Najee Harris has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. This means that someone will have to step up and take the reins as the starting running back for the Tide.

Upcoming senior, Brian Robinson Jr., is expected to be the starter for next year's season. Playing second to Najee Harris, Robinson has had a great three years at Alabama, seeing playing time in all three. Robinson definitely has the experience and talent to come in and fill the shoes of Harris in this upcoming season.

As for the younger classes of RB's, Alabama has quite the lineup. The list includes (So.) Kyle Edwards, (RS So.) Trey Sanders, (So.) Roydell Williams, (So.) Jase McCllelan, and (Jr.) Keilan Robinson. This group is filled with highly recruited backs from around the country and could prove to be one of the best that Alabama has ever had.
