The Alabama Crimson Tide has officially hired a new offensive line coach, with Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reporting that the Crimson Tide is hiring USC Trojan offensive analyst Adrian Klemm to be the Tide's new offensive line coach. Alabama fired previous offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic after a suboptimal two seasons in Tuscaloosa that saw the Crimson Tide rush for just 1,562 yards, averaging 3.4 yards per carry, with just 21 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Alabama's 2025 totals were a sharp decline from the 2024 season, when Alabama rushed for 2,260 yards, averaging 4.6 yards per carry, with 41 rushing touchdowns. In 2024, the Tide's two leading rushers were Jalen Milroe (726 yards, 20 touchdowns) and Jam Miller (668 yards, seven touchdowns). In 2025, Alabama's leaders were Jam Miller (504 yards, three touchdowns) and Daniel Hill (284 yards, six touchdowns).

Klemm, a native of Inglewood, California, was an offensive analyst for the USC Trojans for the 2025 season. Before his time with the Trojans, Klemm spent time with the New England Patriots, the Oregon Ducks, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the UCLA Bruins, and the SMU Mustangs, serving in various roles as an offensive analyst and offensive line coach/run game coordinator.

Klemm is a former NFL offensive lineman, playing with the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2004 and the Green Bay Packers in 2005. During his NFL career, he appeared in 42 games and started 18. He is a three-time Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots.

Kelmm was the offensive line coach for the Oregon Ducks in 2022 when the Ducks completed a 10-3 season. Oregon's offensive line allowed just five sacks all season long, leading the FBS in sacks allowed. The Ducks rushed for 2,805 yards (5.5 yards per carry) as a team and rushed for 34 touchdowns. Oregon's leading rusher was Bucky Irving with 1,058 yards and five touchdowns, and the Ducks' second leading rusher was Noah Whittington with 779 yards and five touchdowns.

The Crimson Tide still has an open spot on its coaching staff after moving former tight ends coach Bryan Ellis to coaching quarterbacks. Alabama's previous quarterbacks coach, Nick Sheridan, accepted the offensive coordinator position at Michigan State.
