In Alabama's second-to-last home game of the season, three seniors were honored after their come-from-behind victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Those three seniors are Dom Welch, Adam Cotrell, and Noah Gurley.

Welch transferred in from St. Bonaventure last season after leading the Bonnies to a tournament bid in '21 and a deep NIT run in '22. After suffering a lower leg injury before the season, Welch made his debut in Crimson during Alabama's Dec 28 matchup against Mississippi State, where he appeared in 10 minutes, shooting two shots but not converting any of them.

Welch has averaged 1.9 points on 23.5% shooting in 14 games for the Tide this season.

Welch was honored with fellow West New York native, Bryan Hodgson by his side.

The second senior honored Saturday was Gurley. The 6-foot-8 forward transferred in from Furman after a solid Junior campaign. During his two years at the Capstone, Gurley has averaged six points and four rebounds a game. Gurley has been one of the leaders and veterans of this young Alabama squad this season.

Gurley was honored with his parents and godfather by his side.

The third and final senior recognized was fan-favorite Cottrell. In his four years at Alabama, Cottrell has appeared in 18 games, each time met with a booming cheer from the crowd as he checked into the game. The Flowery Branch, Georgia, native has been named to the SEC All-Academic honor roll twice, including being named to the President's List last semester with a 4.0 GPA. Cottrell also earned his Bachelors and Masters degree while at Alabama.

Cottrell was recognized with his mom, dad, and brother standing next to him.

However, the ceremony did leave some question marks, as 5th-year senior Jahvon Quinerly was not honored.

Coach Oats has not ruled out the Idea of Quinerly returning for his sixth collegiate season.

"He planned on leaving after last year. I have brought it up with him. I don't have an answer for you. The NIL opportunities have changed that stuff. I don't know what he's going to do. We're going to figure that out when the season is over." said Oats.

Whether or not Quinerly returns for his sixth season, all four of these players have brought leadership and winning to the program.
