The Crimson Tide added its first addition via the transfer portal late last night, with seven-foot Bucknell transfer Noah Williamson committing to play his final season of eligibility for Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide.

Williamson's commitment won't be the last for the Crimson Tide, as Alabama is searching for more length in the transfer portal and is still reaching out to top-tier prospects.

According to Joe Tipton of On3 Sports, Alabama is one of several schools in contact with UAB transfer forward Yaxel Lendenborg.

Lendenborg, a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward from Pennsauken, New Jersey, was the leading scorer for the UAB Blazers in the 024-2025 season, scoring 17.7 points per game. He averaged a double-double last season, collecting 11.4 rebounds alongside his 17.7 points per game. He also averaged 4.2 assists per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the floor and 35.7 percent from three-point range.

Alabama is not the only SEC team involved with Lendenborg, with Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, and Ole Miss also hunting for the New Jersey native.

Kentucky is moving quickly for Lendenborg, already setting up a meeting with him, according to Kentucky Sports Radio.

The Tide is losing significant depth at forward this offseason, with Grant Nelson exhausting his collegiate eligibility. The Tide could also lose one or two of Jarin Stevenson, Mouhamed Dioubate, and Derrion Reid in the transfer portal, so forward depth is a reason Alabama is in contact with Lendenborg.
