The Ala., native is a former class of 2020 four-star recruit, who originally committed to Auburn but decommitted after going on two visits to the Capstone. He committed to Alabama shortly after.

Cohen was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2020 and became a starter his sophomore season.

Cohen made headlines over the summer for opening up about his mental health struggles and spoke about how he spent part of his summer in rehabilitation.

The junior is the ninth player to enter the transfer portal from the Crimson Tide. He joins Traeshon Holden, Khyree Jackson, Christian Leary, Trey Sanders, Tanner Bowles, Damieon George, Jack Martin, and Braylen Ingraham.

According to Cohen, he has two years of eligibility left in his collegiate career.
