Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe got baptized on Sunday.

In a Twitter video posted by an independent quarterback coach out of Texas Brad Wilson Stanfield, Milroe is seen getting dunked into a pool by a pastor and had two other men standing alongside him for support.

"Yesssss!! My boy Jalen Milroe got baptized today! That’s all the fire works I needed right there!!! Letsssss Gooooo!! @JalenMilroe," said Stanfield.

Stanfield has been a longtime coach for Milroe, according to his website's testimonials page. "You (Stanfield) have really helped me with using my core and body as a thrower. You have also helped with small things in my game since 7th through HS," wrote Milroe.

The Katy, Texas native is open about his faith, as he uses the motto "faith, family, football," throughout his social media pages. He also tweets about his beliefs and uses bible verses in multiple social media posts, including an Instagram story posted on Sunday with Galatians 2:20.

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

The redshirt freshman saw time in four games last season, but had a stellar 2022 A-Day performance. In the annual scrimmage, he went 11-of-23 for 181 yards (including 32 rushing), and a touchdown.

Milroe is projected to be the backup quarterback behind current Heisman winner Bryce Young.
