Erin Routliffe and Maya Jansen were back-to-back women's doubles national champions the past two years at Alabama.  At 10 am CST on Thursday, the duo will make their debut at the prestigious US Open tournament in New York.  Routliffe and Jansen won the spot after winning a 16-team tournament in New Haven, CT this summer.  They will open play against the team of Raquel-Kops Jones and Abigail Spearson.

Routliffe and Jansen have made a strong case as being the top duo in Alabama tennis history.  Through two seasons, they have a 57-8 mark, including going 34-4 during the 2014-15 season.  Hopefully, the 2-time national champions can add some Grand Slam success to their impressive record.
