Hubbard continues to collect weekly awards for his performance against Wisconsin, being named to the Jim Thorpe Award Defensive Back of the Week.
The Jim Thorpe Award is presented annually to the top defensive back in college football. Alabama has had two Jim Thorpe Award winners in program history, with Antonio Langham winning it in 1993 and Minkah Fitzpatrick winning it in 2017.
Alabama had no players on the 2025 preseason watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award, but players can be added to the list until the Semifinalists are announced on October 28.
