Bryce Young to Take Official Visit With Carolina
Bryce Young is set to take a Top-30 visit to Carolina, according to NFL Insider for NFL Network Ian Rapoport.
The Panthers also sent 14 representatives to Alabama's Pro Day and took Young to dinner in Tuscaloosa.
The Carolina Panthers traded up for the No. 1 overall selection in March to most likely select a quarterback; whether that quarterback is Young or Ohio State's C.J. Stroud will remain a question until draft day. However, Young has become the favorite to be the first player off the board (-205) per DraftKings.
Many reporters around the league and the team are beginning to feel that Young is the favorite inside the organization.
Young also received massive praise from Panthers' legend Steve Smith Sr., who stated that he believes Bryce deserves to be the first pick on April 27th.
If Young does get a call from David Tepper later this month, he will be the first Alabama player to be selected with the No. 1 overall pick, an outstanding achievement for both the program and Young.
With a highly youthful and talented roster already in Charlotte, drafting Young could be the key to bringing home a championship to the Carolinas.
