While the dust has settled on the winner of the Heisman Trophy for 2018, the conversation continues regarding whether the voters got it right on Saturday.

During Tuesday's edition of The Blitz, former Alabama fullback Martin Houston and DC from Golden Shores Productions discussed the aftermath of Tua coming up short in his question for the Heisman Trophy.

Regardless of who won the Heisman, DC thinks Tua was the best player in the country this year.

"I really believe that Tua (Tagovailoa) was the best quarterback, the best player in college football." DC said.

Even though much of the Alabama fandom is disappointed at the results, the Alabama football analyst with Golden Shores Productions believes that Tua could benefit from a second place showing in the Heisman Trophy voting.

"I know Alabama nation is probably disappointed, but I think it's good for Tua. I think he'll grow from it, learn from it. He'll bounce back from it. I don't think it's going to affect him. If anything, it will increase his play. I don't think it's going to hurt him." DC said.

Later in the conversation, DC examined whether changes should be made in the process of selecting the Heisman Trophy winner, the importance of running the football against Oklahoma, the impact of losing Burton Burns as running back coach and the impact that special teams coach Jeff Banks and wide receivers coach Josh Gattis had on the team.
