Every year is different as players come and go, coaches leave for other programs and players improve or suffer injuries, the Crimson Tide has been consistently upgrading all their moving parts to stay atop of college football.

Nick Saban has pride in his defense and that side of the football has been the driving force for his success at Alabama, but injuries at the linebacker position has derailed people's opinion on this year's team.

This season seems different from years past according to one college football analyst.

Pete Fiutak of CollegeFootballNews.com joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to explain why he thinks this Alabama team isn't up to par with the teams of recent memory and their performance against Texas A&M and Mississippi State is indication of this.

For more of Fiutak's analysis of the Alabama team and how he has going to the CFB playoffs at the end of the season despite being outside of the top six, make sure you watch the video above the article. Don't miss The Game with Ryan Fowler weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.
