Something special about football is the relationships you build from them and the person you learn the game from. For former Alabama wide receiver/assistant and Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney his mentor was his Alabama head coach Gene Stallings.

Before a national championship victory at Clemson, the former walk-on from Pelham, AL was on Coach Stallings 1992 National Championship team and hasn't looked back since.

Coach Swinney joined The Game with Ryan Fowler live from the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in Birmingham to share stories on Coach Stallings and what he's learned from him during his years at Alabama, the difference between the ACC and SEC, and reflects back on his time as a walk-on to a national championship coach and being inducted in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame this weekend.

For Dabo's conversation with Ryan Fowler, make sure you watch the video above the article. Don't miss The Game weekday afternoons from 2-6 p.m. for the latest surrounding the Alabama Crimson Tide.
