During 'Hey Coach' on Wednesday night, it was announced that former Alabama linebacker Cory Reamer will be the sideline reporter for the 2025 season, replacing former Alabama defensive lineman Damion Square, who joined the West Alabama coaching staff under former Alabama strength and conditioning coach Scott Cochran.

Reamer was a member of the Crimson Tide from 2005 to 2009 and was part of Nick Saban's first national championship team during the 2009 regular season, as Alabama claimed the BCS National Championship over the Texas Longhorns in January 2010. Reamer joins Chris Stewart, former Alabama quarterback Tyler Watts, engineer Tom Stipe, and Roger Hoover on the broadcast.

Alabama has shuffled sideline reporters over the past few seasons. Square stepped in after former Alabama running back Damien Harris was supposed to be the sideline reporter, but ended up taking a job with CBS Sports. Former Alabama linebacker and Tide 100.9 show host Christian Miller handled sideline duties before then.

"I'm excited about it", Reamer said on 'Hey Coach.' "It's been a work in progress. Got to dabble in it a couple of years ago with the Texas game, filling in. Enjoyed it so much, I guess I'm gonna do it for an entire season now."

Reamer's first game on the sidelines will come on August 30 when Alabama takes on Florida State.
