Five-Star Cornerback Announces Final Five Schools

Five-star class of 2024 cornerback Charles Lester has narrowed down his schools to five.

The junior will choose between Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama.

The Fla., native ranks No. 22 nationally, No. 3 in cornerbacks, and No. 7 in the state of Fla., according to 247Sports Composite.

"The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Lester glides up and down the field in coverage with ease and is able to consistently stick with receivers," said national recruiting analyst for On3Sports Sam Spiegelman.

Alabama sent an offer to Lester in January of 2022 and he has attended two school camps here at the Capstone, one prior to his offer and one since.

Lester would be the second five-star commit of the class of 2024 for the Crimson Tide and would add to Alabama's No. 5 ranked recruiting class.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Alabama is the favorite to land the defensive star with an 82% chance.
