Former Alabama cornerback and undrafted free agent Josh Jobe has survived the final series of cuts and signed a one-year,$705,000 deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jobe now becomes the fifth Crimson Tide player on the Eagles roster joining quarterback Jalen Hurts, wide receiver Devonta Smith, offensive lineman Landon Dickerson, and safety Jared Mayden.

Jobe was a four-star recruit who committed to the Crimson Tide with the Class of 2018. The National Champion recorded 129 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, and two forced fumbles during his career at the Capstone.

No team decided to draft the 6'1 defensive back in the 2022 NFL Draft leaving his future unclear. After getting picked up by Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent, Jobe had just three games to prove that he deserved a spot on a Super Bowl contending team.

Jobe recorded 12 total tackles, eight solo tackles, and one pass deflection in the three preseason games he played. He also became a fan favorite of Eagles fans with many of his tackles being hard hits on receivers.

Jobe now joins a rising Eagles defense led by All-Pro Darius Slay, James Bradberry, Avonte Maddox, Fletcher Cox, Jordan Davis, and Chauncey-Gardner Johnson.

With the addition of Jobe and the emergence of Jalen Hurts, the Eagles could win the NFC East and even become a dark horse pick to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 57.
