Former Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones impressed in the Tampa Bay Buccaneer's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

Going into this season, many people did not know what to expect from the future Hall of Famer. After a very underwhelming year with the Tennessee Titans, many expected Jones to have a very minor role on the Buccaneers.

To the surprise of many fans and analysts, Jones looked like he was back in his prime, beating every cornerback that lined up against him. He even had the play of the game catching a 48-yard pass from Tom Brady.

Jones's final stats at the end of the game were three receptions for 69 yards. This helped the Buccaneers start the year 1-0, defeating the Dallas Cowboys by a score of 19-3.

With the resurgence of Jones, Brady and the Bucs now have a three-headed monster at the wide receiver position which also includes Pro Bowlers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

This Sunday, the Buccaneers travel to the "Big Easy" for a week two matchup against the New Orleans Saints at 12:00 p.m. CDT.
