Although the off season conversation has been between who will start at quarterback for the Crimson Tide, but there is no issues for the core playing behind the QBs.

The running backs could have Alabama's offense looking more high powered than they've been in recent memory led by Damien Harris, who could have his third straight 1,000 yard season this year.

Former Alabama running back Derrick Lassic joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to praise Damien Harris and compares him to another great Alabama running back.

"He kind of reminds me of Shaun Alexander," Lassic said. "He doesn't look real shifty, doesn't look real quick, but he hits the hole, tacklers fall off of him and he seems to always make the big run every game. I love watching him run."

He talked about Najee Harris, who is expected to be the second back and potential star for the Crimson Tide in the close future.

"He's going to be something special," Lassic said. "He's hard to bring down, very powerful, and he's a lot more shiftier than I thought he would be for a big back."

He also talked about Najee playing the back up role and shouldn't look at it as a bad thing because he believes he'll be a type of player that plays on Sundays and all he has to do is make every carry count when he's on the field similar to how he did last season.

Lassic also discussed predicting Tua Tagovailoa would start the second half of the national championship game, remembers the 1992 team, and share his thoughts on his former coach Gene Stallings.
