Former Alabama baseball third baseman Colby Shelton has announced his new home.
The Fla., native is transferring to Florida. He announced his decision via social media on Thursday afternoon.
"Excited for what is next! Go Gators," tweeted Shelton.
Shelton played one season at the Capstone, recording recording a .301 batting average with 61 hits, 51 runs batted in, 49 runs, 33 drawn walks, 25 home runs, ten doubles, two sacrifice flies, and a triple.
He entered the portal on June 14, along with former Alabama infielder Bryce Eblin, and is the first to announce his transfer destination.
