Four-star class of 2024 running back Taylor Tatum has received an offer from the Crimson Tide.

The Texas native ranks No. 73 nationally, No. 5 in running backs, and No. 10 in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports Composite.

Last season, the junior recorded 227 rushing attempts for 1,891 yards and 33 touchdowns, as well as 12 receptions for 160 yards and three touchdowns. He aided the Longview Lobos to a 14-1 record and an appearance in the 5A Texas University Interscholastic League State Playoffs semifinal where the team lost to Aledo 17-14.

"Instinctive lane-finder. Plays with patience. Presses blocks to allow for holes to materialize. Also knows how to buy a couple more strides of time on perimeter runs to help blockers re-route defenders. Quick-footed in the hole. Regularly makes something out of nothing when penetration disrupts play in the backfield. Uses an effective hesitation to set up evasive measures in space," said Midlands region recruiting analyst for 247Sports Gabe Brooks.

According to the On3Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, Baylor is the favorite to land the prospect with a 25.7% chance.
