Jackson State is coming into the night with its only win being a 69-68 upset over the SMU Mustangs. Jackson State will look to play upset tonight against Alabama, as they are currently 31-point underdogs.

Jackson State is led by a familiar face to the Alabama basketball program, Mo Williams. Williams, the now head coach of the Tigers, played for the Tide from 2001-2003, where he led Alabama to an SEC regular season championship and two NCAA tournament appearances. Williams also spent 13 years in the NBA for eight different teams. During his time in the NBA, Williams averaged 13.2 points and 4.9 assists a night, also winning an NBA championship with the Cavaliers in his final NBA season.

Jackson State will turn to their leading scorer Ken Evans Jr (11.2 PPG) to have a big night in order to upset the Tide.

Alabama is coming into tonight looking to get back on track after dropping their 2nd game of the season to 15th-ranked Gonzaga Saturday. The Tide will hope to tack on a dominant win over Jackson State to pile on momentum heading into SEC play. Alabama opens up SEC play at Mississippi State on Dec. 28.

Alabama will seek to win their 10th game before SEC Play tonight, something that they haven't achieved since the 2014-15 season.
