Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has decided to enter the transfer portal, per Pete Nakos of On3.

Beck initially declared for the NFL draft in late December, however, it seems a mix of NIL money and scout grades swayed the mind of Beck's camp.

Beck suffered a UCL tear and underwent surgery after injuring his elbow during the first half of the SEC Championship win over Texas. Beck did not play in Georgia's CFP loss against Notre Dame

Beck led the Bulldogs to a 24-3 record as a starter throwing for 7399 yards, 52 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions, leading Georgia to an SEC title against Texas in 2024.

Beck's three losses came once against Ole Miss, and twice against Alabama, including an SEC championship loss against the Tide.

Early reports from Pete Nakos suggest Ohio State, Miami, and Texas Tech are the initial frontrunners for Beck. However, many believe that Miami is currently the leader to land Beck.

With the departure of Heisman finalist Cam Ward, Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes are in the market for a new signal-caller, and Beck could be a solid candidate to succede Ward.
