Hear What ArDarius Stewart Said About Turning Pro
Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart was one of three Crimson Tide underclassmen that declared for the 2017 NFL Draft on Friday.
Stewart, a Fultondale native, announced his decision during a press conference in Tuscaloosa
"Playing at the university, there's no other feeling," Stewart said. "I'm just grateful to be here and have this opportunity.
"These four years, it's something you can't get back. I try to leave it all on the field. I try to put my heart into all of this. I'm gonna to miss the guys I was in that receiving room with."
Stewart caught just 12 passes as a freshman in 2014, but he's been one of the Crimson Tide's top targets ever since. The past two season he's made a total 117 catches for 1,564 yards and 12 touchdowns. He led the team in receiving yards, touchdowns, and yards per catch in 2016.
After the press conference was over, Stewart talked to the media and discussed the decision some more.
