Three Alabama Players Earn Associated Press All-SEC Status
Three Crimson Tide stars earned All-SEC honors from the Associated Press on Wednesday, with safety Bray Hubbard and offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor earning first-team recognition, while quarterback Ty Simpson earned second-team honors. All three also earned All-SEC honors from the Southeastern Conference on Tuesday.

Proctor, a junior from Des Moines, Iowa, is viewed as one of the top offensive line prospects in the 2026 NFL draft and has spent three seasons protecting the blindside of Alabama quarterbacks Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson. Proctor has started all but two games over the last two seasons at left tackle for Alabama, showing his ability to play through injury and adversity during his time in Tuscaloosa.
Hubbard, a junior from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, was Alabama's third-leading tackler during the 13 games played so far in the 2025 college football season, with 66 total tackles. He leads the team with eight pass breakups and four interceptions, while also adding three forced fumbles and one sack on the season. Hubbard is viewed as one of the top safety prospects in the 2026 NFL draft.
On the second team, quarterback Ty Simpson, a redshirt junior from Martin, Tennessee, earned Alabama's starting quarterback job in fall camp, leading the Crimson Tide to a 10-3 record with an SEC championship appearance and a College Football Playoff berth in his first season as a starter. Simpson has completed 64.3% of his passes for 3,268 yards and 26 touchdowns, adding another two touchdowns rushing this season for Alabama.
