The Iowa State Cyclones have started off their NCAA Tournament run in solid fashion with double digit wins over Iona and Arkansas-Little Rock.

Leading the Cyclones is Alabama alumnus Steve Prohm. He was a student manager for the Crimson Tide basketball program during the David Hobbs era. Prohm is in his first season at Iowa State after surpassing 100 total wins in four seasons at Murray State.

The former Alabama basketball student manager came Inside the Locker Room to share his thoughts on Iowa State's success and how he rose through the coaching ranks from student manager to a head coach in the Big 12.

Iowa State faces Virginia in the Sweet 16 Friday night at 6:10 PM on CBS.

Catch Inside the Locker Room every weekday from 7-9 AM on Tide 99.1 and the radioPup app.
