Weather Outlook for Alabama’s SEC Championship Game
Alabama fans are getting ready to hit the road to cheer on the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, December 6, with a 3 p.m. kickoff at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Even with the stadium’s retractable roof, it’s always smart to check the gameday weather and temperatures so you can plan for travel and festivities. It’s also a good idea to review the stadium’s rules before you arrive.
James Spann, Alabama Weather Network and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist, said that “for the fans walking to and from the game, the sky will be cloudy with some light rain possible. The high in Atlanta Saturday afternoon will be in the low 50s.”
