Four-Star 2027 Edge De-Commits from Alabama Football
The Crimson Tide's 2027 recruiting class took a hit on Saturday, with four-star edge Jabarrius Garror de-committing from Alabama, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3 and Rivals.

Garror, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound edge, originally committed to Alabama on July 31, 2024, marking one of the first 2027 commitments for Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer. He was ranked as the No. 106 overall prospect, the No. 12 edge, and the No. 4 player in the state of Alabama out of Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama. He has taken several visits since his commitment, and the de-commitment doesn't come as a surprise.
He held a total of 29 offers, including Alabama, Auburn, Texas A&M, Texas, and Florida State, among others. During the 2024 season, Garror was named the Alabama Sports Writers Association 5A Lineman of the Year and a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American. As a sophomore, he totaled 104 tackles, 56 tackles for loss, 37 quarterback hurries, 21.5 sacks, five pass breakups, and four forced fumbles for Vigor.
Alabama still has three commitments in the 2027 recruiting class:
Four-star quarterback Trent Seaborn
Three-star Athlete Colt Lumpris
Three-star cornerback Nash Johnson III
Garror is currently still scheduled to take an official visit to Alabama on June 18, but will take visits to Auburn (May 29), Texas A&M (June 5), and Texas (June 12).
