As a linebacker, Campbell stands out with a diverse skill set that often leaves opponents scrambling to evade him. His remarkable speed enables him to cover ground from sideline to sideline, and he possesses the ability to burst through and create pressure as a rusher. His athleticism allows him to consistently reach the football with impressive efficiency.

During his tenure at Alabama, Campbell was recognized as a versatile defender, excelling particularly on third downs as both a blitzer and a coverage specialist. In the 2024-25 season, he showcased his talents both on the edge and as an inside linebacker, leading the Crimson Tide with 119 tackles and five sacks, earning him All-SEC first-team honors.

At the Combine, Campbell clocked a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash, ranking third among linebackers, and reached a top speed of 22.62 mph, the second fastest in his group. Following his rapid 40-yard time, he participated in only two on-field drills, where he further solidified his status as a potential first-round pick. His performance was marked by quickness, aggression, and fluidity. Overall, Campbell's athleticism truly shone during the scouting process.

Scouts and analysts have taken notice, frequently discussing his potential as a future NFL standout. In Daniel Jeremiah's Top 50 list, he ranks No.12 and is characterized as a rangy and explosive linebacker.

He has drawn comparisons to NFL middle linebacker Fred Warner, with the distinction that Campbell exhibits even greater athleticism.

Following the conclusion of the on-field drills for the day, he was asked to remain and participate in additional pass rushing drills, where he also performed admirably.
