Cuevas, a 6-foot-3, 256-pound tight end from Los Angeles, California, has been a safety net for quarterback Ty Simpson during the 2025 season. Cuevas has made 34 receptions for 384 yards and four touchdowns with the Crimson Tide, averaging 11.3 yards per reception. His top performance came in Alabama's 23-21 loss to Oklahoma on November 15, where he caught six receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Cuevas has dealt with injuries over the last month, missing Alabama's victories over Eastern Illinois, Auburn, and the SEC championship loss to Georgia with a lower-body injury he suffered during practice before the Tide's Eastern Illinois matchup. Cuevas returned for the first round of the College Football Playoff against Oklahoma, a game Alabama won 34-24 in Norman, Oklahoma, with Cuevas catching four receptions for 43 yards in the Tide's victory.

He will join running back Jam Miller, wide receiver Germie Bernard, defensive lineman Tim Keenan III, linebacker Deontae Lawson, and linebacker Justin Jefferson in Mobile for the Senior Bowl, which will be played on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
