Lotzeir Brooks and Isaiah Horton, two key contributors for the Crimson Tide this season, both received positive updates from the Crimson Tide's head coach.

"I expect those guys to be ready to go for LSU," DeBoer said during his weekly SEC teleconference. "Lotty was especially rolling out there today and making good progress. Isaiah just got dinged up there in the first half of the game, and he's making good progress, too."

Lotzeir Brooks, a true freshman, missed Alabama's 29-22 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks with a lower-body injury he suffered during Alabama's 37-20 win over the Tennessee Volunteers. DeBoer said last week that Brooks, "didn't turn the corner like we probably thought he was gonna do as the week went on."

Horton, a redshirt junior, left Alabama's win over South Carolina late in the first half and did not play in the second half.

Horton has caught 22 passes for 272 yards and five touchdowns so far during his first season with the Crimson Tide after transferring to Alabama from Miami. Brooks, a former three-star recruit from New Jersey, has caught 16 passes for 255 yards.

Alabama is on a bye this week before hosting LSU on Saturday, November 8.
