Kentucky Player Makes Bold Guarantee: We’ll Score Against Alabama

Every week, Alabama has a target on its back as the nation's top-ranked team. Often times, that leads to talk from opposition about what they plan on proving in an upcoming matchup. Two weeks ago, it was Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace that told the media that his Rebels could score on anyone, including Alabama. We saw how that turned out.

This week, Kentucky freshman running back Jojo Kemp has followed Wallace's lead, albeit a toned down version, by guaranteeing the Wildcats score on Saturday. In fact, he really only predicts that they'll score, which makes it an admission of inferiority more than anything else. But let this be a good example for why Nick Saban doesn't let freshmen talk to the media.
