Labaron Philon – Game Time Decision Vs. Georgia

Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Crimson Tide is less than two hours to tip-off against Georgia inside Coleman Coliseum, and the SEC availability report has been updated for Alabama's gameday against Georgia.

Alabama's star true freshman guard Labaron Philon was questionable on Friday night ahead of the 3:00 p.m. tip-off between Alabama and Georgia. The gameday availability report lists Philon as a "game-time decision" against Georgia.

When healthy, Philon has started every game for Alabama this season. However, Alabama head coach Nate Oats revealed that Philon suffered a minor lower-body injury ahead of Alabama's home victory over LSU last Saturday. In Philon's place, senior transfer Chris Youngblood has made back-to-back starts for the Crimson Tide. Philon has also played off the bench while rehabbing a lower-body injury.

Philon has played in 21 games for Alabama this season, helping the Crimson Tide achieve an 18-3 overall record and 7-1 record in the SEC so far this season. Philon averages 11 points per game while shooting 45.9% from the field and 29% from three-point range. Philon also averages 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.1 steals per game.

Every player is available for Georgia.
