LSU Four-Star WR Commit will Visit Tuscaloosa This Weekend
The dead period ended today, allowing teams to bring athletes to campus for visits. The Crimson Tide wasted no time in assembling a star-studded guest list for the upcoming weekend, with another high prospect joining their list on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong reported that LSU’s four-star wide receiver commit, Kenny Darby, will be in Tuscaloosa on Friday, May 30, for an official visit alongside many other elite prospects in the 2026 class who will be on visits the same weekend as Darby.
The LSU commit is ranked as the No. 21 wide receiver, the No. 7 player from Louisiana, and the 148th overall prospect in the 2026 class, according to On3. Darby thrived in his junior season at Airline in Bossier City, Louisiana, where he amassed 1,754 receiving yards on 100 catches and scored 24 touchdowns.
Darby committed to the Tigers back in November of 2024, with the wide receiver seeming like a lock for Brian Kelly and the Tigers. Still, with his scheduled official visit to Alabama this weekend, it looks like DeBoer and the Tide have gained some traction as the Tide are currently the Official Visit Darby has scheduled for this summer.
The Crimson Tide's wide receiver coach, JaMarcus Shephard, has been relentlessly recruiting the talented prospect from the boot state, with Shepard making several in-home visits to Darby this spring, and now it appears that Shephard's efforts are paying off, with the No.21 wide receiver in the 2026 class returning the favor with a visit of his own this weekend.
Alabama will have two high-powered wide receivers on campus this weekend with four-star Boobie Feaster expected to be on campus alongside Darby, with Feaster ranking as the No.5 receiver in the 2026 class according to On3.
This would be a huge addition to Alabama’s recruiting class, which currently ranks eighth in the nation and fourth in the SEC, according to On3.
