The Alabama Crimson Tide advanced into the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament thanks to two emphatic victories this past weekend. The Tide, the number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, was able to lean on a home court advantage by virtue of playing in Birmingham.

Alabama head coach Nate Oats has been vocally thankful to the Crimson Tide nation throughout the season as the fanbase has travelled in mass to support this team.

"I looked it up. Its only a five hour trip from Birmingham, six hours from here, three and a half from Huntsville. So we need all the Roll Tide fans out there to travel up to Louisville. Hopefully we can make Louisville similar to what Birmingham was for us, because that was great, the environment we had going in Birmingham," said Oats on Monday's edition of "Hey Coach".

Hopefully they can make it. When you're the number one overall seed, you get to pick where you want to play in the first two weekends. We picked Birmingham, obviously, and we picked Louisville. We picked Louisville for a reason, so we'd make sure we'd get our fan base up there. So let's make sure they don't disappoint. They've been great so far. They were great in Nashville for the SEC Tournament. They were great in Birmingham for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. We need them to be great for the next two rounds."
