"Noah [Rogers], Noah's been consistent," DeBoer said. "Had a couple nice catches, had some big plays, I thought he was there when we needed to - even just sometimes short ones where you gotta move the chains - maybe it's not just a complete natural catch."

Rogers transferred to Alabama after spending the last two seasons at NC State, where he caught 68 passes for 919 yards and three touchdowns with the Wolfpack. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver has made strides with Alabama in his first spring in Tuscaloosa.

"Josh [Ford] is a guy that brings demeanor," DeBoer added on the Oklahoma State transfer tight end. "Bray Hubbard shouted him out, and talked about his demeanor. Him coming across on blocks and coming up the field on blocks, and you’ve got a full head of steam coming at you. He isn’t really scared of anyone, so it’s really good to see, and probably one of the biggest claps in the shout-outs was for Josh. So, you know, that’s something that you can see, even when you’re not around the guys all the time, someone behind the scenes seems to have the guys rallying around him and appreciate what he’s bringing.”

Ford played in 16 games across two seasons at Oklahoma State, making six starts during his freshman campaign in Stillwater. he totaled 13 receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns before transferring to Alabama.

Alabama will take the weekend off before returning to practice on Tuesday, April 7. A-Day is scheduled for next Saturday, April 11, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
