Preview of Central Versus Aliceville

Central Falcons (1-4, 1-2) host the Aliceville Yellow Jackets (4-1, 2-0) Friday night. This will be the first time these two teams meet each other on the football field. Central will celebrate homecoming during Friday's game.

Central's only win this season was against Paul Bryant three weeks ago where the Falcons won 33-24. Central returns home this week after two straight road losses.

The Falcons trailed McAdory last week at halftime 30-0, but held the McAdory to only seven more points. However, their offense was not able to put up more than seven points themselves. When the clock hit zero,  McAdory defeated the Falcons 37-7.

Aliceville is on the road after a three game home stretch, with the Yellow Jackets winning all three.

Last week Aliceville defeated Sulligent High School 54-28. Senior quarterback Ty'Jarian Williams lead his team to victory completing 14 passes on 21 attempts for 303 yards and seven touchdowns. Williams also had six carries for 126 yards for one touchdown, bringing his touchdown total to eight.

Central will play Aliceville Friday night at Falcon Stadium with kickoff at 7 p.m. CT.
