Alabama returns to SEC play with its first trip to the Bluegrass State since a 38-20 win in 2009. While there has been a hint of optimism from the Big Blue faithful, the series history between Alabama and Kentucky has been anything but positive for the Wildcats. The Crimson Tide has rolled up a 35-2-1 all-time record with the only losses coming in 1922 and 1997. This weekend's game should add to the trend.

Here's how our staff sees it playing out:

Baron Huber (Host of Houston & Huber)

Kentucky has a new coach in Mark Stoops but seems to be the same Big Blue football. Alabama should dominate in every aspect but don't be surprised when Coach Stoops pulls every string necessary to win. The Tide sips its drink early but just like any good Kentucky bourbon it goes down easy at the end. Alabama 37, Kentucky 6

Martin Houston (Host of Houston & Huber)

The Tide's domination continues! The Wildcats have only managed two victories in this series. That number will not change this weekend. Tide plays another complete game.  Alabama 38, Kentucky 13

Chris Stewart (Host of The Chris Stewart Show)

This test won't be as tough as Ole Miss, but I still think Kentucky can be somewhat dangerous offensively. If Alabama can affect the quarterback (notice how I didn't say "sack"?), then I think the Tide will keep the Cats "Air Raid" attack grounded. Look for the Alabama offense to once again take what it is given. That means the underneath throws will be there early, until the Kentucky defense starts to gamble. Then I expect AJ to go deep a couple of times (cue Amari Cooper). The Tide rolls in the Bluegrass - by 21 or more again.

Ryan Fowler (Host of The Game)

If Alabama is going to win it's 3rd national title in a row, they need to run the football with more consistency. Right now Alabama is ranked 12/14 in the SEC in rushing attack. Alabama gets their opportunity against a Wildcat team ranked 13th in the SEC for stopping the run. The Tide gets it done on the road in big style. Alabama 35, Kentucky 7

Ryan McMunn (Producer of The Game)

I hate to be a hater, but Kentucky lost to Western Kentucky. That about sums up any analysis necessary. However, they haven't been blown out in either two of their losses to ranked opponents Florida and Louisville, and they kept the almost consensus #1 quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater, in check with "just" 250 passing yards and only 1 TD. On paper, this is a blow out. According to the experts in the desert, we're 4 TD favorites. I think we are definitely 28 points better than UK, but this game will be closer than expected. Alabama wins another game by 20+ points and gets crucified by fans and the media for doing so. Alabama 31, Kentucky 10

Don't get hung up with Kentucky's results in the previous three games. Sure, they have been competitive against three of the better teams in college football, but this game will be a mismatch. Everything Alabama does well, Kentucky struggles with. Add in the fact the Wildcats have expended a lot of focus and energy prior to this game, which gives the Tide an added advantage. Alabama 35, Kentucky 7
