With 12:43 left in the fourth quarter Seattle Dragons quarterback Brandon Silver’s receiver fell on an out breaking route resulting in the interception. Sylve of the D.C. Defenders returned the interception 69-yards to put the Defenders ahead 31-19, sealing the victory in the first game of the season.
In terms of its outcome, A-Day is meaningless. But when factoring in statistics, it then becomes something of note.
