Anderson led the charge with his foundation League of Leaders hosted his 5th consecutive Turkey Drive ahead of Thanksgiving. He donated frozen turkeys and gift bags to families who drove through for an hour at Hillcrest High School accepting the charity from the two-time All-Star.
Tuscaloosa native Tim Anderson is set to represent his hometown in this years' MLB all-star game after putting for an impressive first half this season. This will be Anderson's second appearance in the all-star game after being selected to the team for the first time last year.
Anderson an alumnus of East Central Community College led all of junior college as a sophomore with a .495 batting average and helped his team to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges State Championship.
Anderson stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 9th inning, trailing by one run and with a man on first he sent a homerun shot over the right field wall into the cornfield for the White Sox win.
