After he was arrested again this weekend, former Alabama standout Isaiah Buggs will surrender the business license and permanently close his hookah lounge in Tuscaloosa.
Elected officials in Tuscaloosa will meet later this month to discuss whether to shut down a hookah lounge belonging to former Tide tackle Isaiah Buggs, now in the NFL on the Kansas City Chiefs' roster.
A motion was filed by the state of Alabama in the District Court in Tuscaloosa County to withdraw the charges should Buggs adhere to one year of compliance with the state's Tax Board. His case will now be reheard in January of 2024 according to District Judge Joanne M. Jannik.
