Alabama’s junior shooting guard John Petty’s elbow injury is just a sprain according to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz. Petty could return prior to the end of the regular season but at the least he is expected to return for the SEC tournament. Petty is the leading rebounder for the Crimson Tide, averaging 6.6 rebounds per game and the team’s second leading scorer, averaging 15 points per game.
