Javian Davis, the former forward for the Crimson Tide, announced Monday morning that he will be transferring to Mississippi State to join the Bulldogs.

In the past few weeks, Kira Lewis has begun rising up draft boards, most recently appearing at the fifteenth overall pick in the latest NBA mock draft from Bleacher Report. Seeing Lewis come off the board here would be incredible, but should be no shock to Crimson Tide basketball fans who watched Kira run the floor for Alabama the last two years.

The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic rocked the nation and shut down the nation. The sports world was put on hiatus and events were cancelled or postponed. The NBA has been suspended since March 11, and is scheduled to resume on July 31. With a delayed postseason comes a delayed offseason. The NBA announced today the new date for the NBA Draft. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the NBA has set a new Draft Lottery date of August 25 and an NBA Draft date of October 15.

Herb Jones, the junior wing from Greensboro, Alabama, declared on Instagram Wednesday that he would be removing his name from the upcoming NBA Draft.

Alabama sophomore point guard Kira Lewis Jr. officially declared his intentions to stay in the upcoming NBA Draft. Lewis Jr. announced on his Twitter page that he will hire an agent and pursue his dreams in the NBA. Latest NBA mock drafts project Lewis as a mid-later first-round draft pick.

The LSU freshman forward Trendon Watford declared for the NBA Draft today. Watford was a five-star prospect out of Mountain Brook High School in the greater Birmingham area of Alabama. Watford announced his decision on his social media. In ESPN's mock draft a month ago Watford was picked 44th overall to the Chicago Bulls.

The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Alabama guard Collin Sexton with the No. 8 pick in the NBA draft, taking a playmaker they hope convinces LeBron James to re-sign with them.

Thursday night will be one of major significance for Collin Sexton and Alabama basketball, and the point guard will be dressed to the nines.

Sexton declared for the draft after his freshman season at Alabama, a program that hasn't had a player drafted in the last decade.
