Tennessee redshirt freshman lineman Charles Mosley has been arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

According to the arrest warrant, the 18-year-old Mosley was driving on Interstate 40 on Wednesday at 1:51 a.m. when he was stopped for driving 79 mph in a 55-mph zone. The arrest warrant also states Mosley "performed poorly" in a field sobriety test and that a search of his vehicle revealed marijuana residue.

The Knoxville News-Sentinel first reported Mosley's arrest.

Tennessee athletic department spokesman Jason Yellin says, "We are aware of the situation and at this point in time are in the process of gathering all of the facts and information."

After missing the entire 2014 season with a broken tibia, Mosley worked out on both sides of the line during spring practice.
