Alabama faces off against a Tulane squad that finished the 2020-21 season with a record of 18-9 and 12-6 in the American Athletic Conference. The Green Wave earned a spot in the 2021 Postseason WNIT, falling to Ole Miss in the second round.

This year, the Green Wave opened the season with a 66-58 win over Southeastern Louisiana. Four players scored in double figures led by R-Jr. Dynah Jones with 16 points. Tulane also added LSU transfer R-Sr. Moon Ursin to their roster this season. Ursin helped guide the Baylor Lady Bears to a national championship in 2019.

The Crimson Tide started their season off strong with a dominant 109-32 win over Charleston Southern on Tuesday night. Brittany Davis led the way with 25 points and 12 rebounds, picking up the first double-double of her career. Four other players scored in double digits as well including, Khyla Wade-Warren (16), Jada Rice (14), Taylor Sutton (13), and JaMya Mingo-Young (12).

The Tide look to carry that momentum into this weekend against the Green Wave and earn another big win.

Alabama currently holds a three-game win streak over Tulane and the Tide lead the overall series 10-4. The Crimson Tide and Green Wave last faced off in 2019 in New Orleans, which ended in an Alabama 66-56 victory.

Tipoff is set for Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m. on the SEC Network Plus.
