Returning for a third year, Tuscaloosa's Tinsel Trail is now open and sparks the triumphant return of the holiday season!

Over 130 decorated Christmas trees line the Tuscaloosa RiverWalk and this year a few even line the sidewalk at Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. With themes ranging from Charlie Brown to the American Flag, this year's Tinsel Trail has something for everyone!

Tinsel Trail is a project of Tuscaloosa’s One Place, a non-profit, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local families. They serve over 8,500 people per year through afterschool programs, parenting and fatherhood, healthy relationship education, career development, GED classes, and teen intervention programs. Proceeds from Tinsel Trail are used to support these programs and serve our local community.

Tinsel Trail will be open until Sunday, January 3, 2016 and will be lit from dusk til midnight but can also be enjoyed during the day.

Here are a few highlights from tonight's ribbon cutting.
