UA Basketball Signs Three Four-Star Prospects
The University of Alabama may be a football school, but basketball is getting big in the City of Tuscaloosa. Three four-star basketball prospects are expected to be in Tuscaloosa for the 2025-26 school year.
Oats arrived at the University of Alabama in 2019, having his fifth consecutive top 15 signing class, with On3 ranking this recruiting class at No. 6, this would be a first in program history.
London Jemison signed his National Letter of Intent on Monday, November 18, 2024. Jemison is ranked at No.8 at the power forward position and is also ranked as the No. 38 recruit in the nation.
The 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward out of Bloomfield, Connecticut plays for the St. Thomas More Chancellors in Oakdale, Connecticut, which has produced other NBA names such as Andre Drummond and Damion Lee.
Jemison is ranked as the No. 1 player in his state.
The Crimson Tide also signed Davion Hannah, the 6-foot-6 guard out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, deemed the No. 1 player of his state and No. 38 overall by On3. He was named to the Naismith High School Player of the Year Watch List alongside London Jemison who is another Alabama Basketball signee.
Alabama not only signed the No. 1 player out of Wisconsin but also the No. 2 ranked player out of Wisconsin, Amari Allen. Standing at 6-foot-8 and 180 pounds, Allen is the No. 13-ranked small forward in the country as well as the No. 71 overall recruit. Allen played for IMG Academy before returning to Wisconsin to finish his high school basketball career with Ashwaubenon High School.
According to rolltide.com, Oats has a lot of positive comments for the new signees and what they will bring to this Crimson Tide team in the future.
Nate Oats: "We are excited with the quality of talent we were able to bring in with this class while adding three great people that will add value to our program. Amari, Davion, and London each have a chance to play at the next level due to their ability to play multiple positions with great size, high IQ, and skill level. We are excited to welcome both them and their families to the Alabama basketball program."
